Day 1: Arrival New DelhiYou'll arrive in Delhi and your chauffeur will pick you up for the drive to your hotel. After settling in, the rest of the day is yours to relax and recover from travel. If your flight gets in early enough, you have the option to pop over to Akshardham Temple for a quick look around, but there's no pressure to do anything if you're tired.
Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing
Following breakfast, your private guide will take you through both Old and New Delhi. You'll see the Red Fort and Jama Masjid, then take a rickshaw through the crowded energy of Chandni Chowk market. From there, you'll head to Rajghat memorial and Humayun's Tomb, then check out Qutub Minar. Indian Gate is next for some photos, and you'll drive past the Presidential Palace and Parliament Building before returning to your hotel.
Day 3: Delhi to Agra
After breakfast, the drive to Agra takes about 3 to 4 hours via expressway. Once you arrive and check in, you'll meet your city guide and head straight to Agra Fort, which was where Mughal emperors actually lived. Later, you'll go to Mehtab Bagh to catch the sunset and see the Taj Mahal from across the river with beautiful light hitting it.
Day 4: Agra to Jaipur
They'll pick you up at 5:45 A.M. for the sunrise tour of the Taj Mahal. You'll watch it slowly turn pink as the sun comes up and get a real sense of how well it was built. Back at the hotel, you'll freshen up and have breakfast, then check out and head toward Jaipur. On the way, you'll stop at Fatehpur Sikri, an abandoned 16th-century city that Emperor Akbar built. You'll arrive in Jaipur by evening and settle into your hotel.
Day 5: Jaipur City Tour
After breakfast, your guide will meet you and you'll start with Amer Fort, which sits up on Aravalli Hill and is quite the complex. Next is City Palace, where Mughal and Rajput styles mix together, and Jantar Mantar, an observatory with that famous massive stone sundial. You'll stop for photos at Jal Mahal and Hawa Mahal, then wander through the colorful markets of the Pink City before heading back to your hotel.
Day 6: Jaipur to Udaipur
Following breakfast, you'll drive to Udaipur. It's a longer journey, so once you reach your hotel and check in, the afternoon and evening are free for you to rest up and relax after being on the road.
Day 7: Udaipur
After breakfast, you'll meet your guide to start seeing Udaipur. Jagdish Temple sits near City Palace and is a beautiful Hindu temple worth your time. City Palace itself was built gradually over almost 400 years by different rulers, so it's really interesting to walk through. Later you'll take a boat out on Lake Pichola to visit Jag Mandir, then explore Saheliyon Ki Bari with its fountains, lotus pools, and marble elephants that Rana Sangram Sing had built.
Day 8: Udaipur to Jodhpur
You'll drive to Jodhpur through the colorful countryside of Rajasthan. Along the way, you'll stop at Ranakpur Jain Temple, which is made of marble and has really intricate carvings showing Jain religious art. Once you reach Jodhpur, you'll check into your hotel.
Day 9: Jodhpur
After breakfast, you'll get to know Jodhpur, the second-largest city in Rajasthan and called the Blue City because of all the blue-painted houses in the old section, which is surrounded by a 10 km wall with seven gates. You'll tour Mehrangarh Fort, known for its fancy latticed stone windows, and Jaswant Thada, a white marble memorial. In the evening, you'll have free time to explore the Clock Tower market area and Ghanta Ghar on your own.
Day 10: Jodhpur to Jaisalmer
You'll head to Jaisalmer and transfer out to a desert camp for an Arabian night experience. You'll get a traditional welcome with Aarti, Teeka, and Dhol music playing. In the evening, you'll ride camels out into the desert and watch the sunset from up on a camel's back, then enjoy Rajasthani folk performances with music and dancing. High tea gets served later in the evening.
Day 11: Jaisalmer
After breakfast at the camp, you'll check out and transfer into Jaisalmer City, known as the golden city of Rajasthan. Your guide will take you through Jaisalmer Fort and you'll walk past the beautifully carved havelis, then transfer to your hotel for the night.
Day 12: Jaisalmer to Bikaner
You'll drive to Bikaner and check into your hotel. Before settling in for the evening, you'll visit the camel breeding farm to learn how they raise and care for these desert animals.
Day 13: Bikaner to Mandawa
After breakfast, you'll explore the desert city of Bikaner. You'll see Junagarh Fort, a 16th-century fortress with massive walls, old palaces, temples, and a mosque. You'll check out the arched doorway to Joramal Temple and the Harmandir Royal Chapel where royal ceremonies like weddings and births took place. Then you'll drive to Mandawa for the night.
Day 14: Mandawa to Delhi
After breakfast, you'll see the painted havelis around Mandawa, which people call open-air art galleries because of all the detailed artwork covering them. After this half-day tour, you'll drive back to Delhi for your last night.
Day 15: Delhi Departure
After breakfast, your driver will take you to Delhi Airport when it's time for your flight. You'll head home with memories from your Royal Rajasthan tour and that unforgettable sunrise at the Taj Mahal.
